Who we are
Superior Quality Discount Pool Service, Inc. is a swimming pool service company. We provide weekly residential pool cleaning and maintenance — the recurring, unglamorous work that keeps a backyard pool clear, balanced and swimmable without the owner having to think about it.
Our Phoenix operation runs fixed weekly routes across Maricopa County. Fixed routes matter more than they sound like they should: they are why your service day does not move, why your pool is seen every single week, and why equipment problems get caught while they are still small.
What we actually do
Every pool on our books gets the same eight-point weekly visit — brush, floor, tile, skim, baskets, full chemistry panel, backwash, emailed PDF service report — with routine chemicals included in the monthly rate. Beyond that we handle filter service, green pool recovery and salt water systems.
What we do not do is quote a low headline rate and make it back on add-ons. Extras are quoted before the work, every time, and nothing appears on an invoice that you have not approved.
How we operate
We are fully insured. Our technicians are trained on the chemistry and the equipment, not just handed a net. Every visit produces a service report, so you know the pool was serviced, what the readings were, and anything that needs your attention.
Service is month to month. There is no contract, no minimum term and no cancellation fee — we would rather earn the next month than trap you in it.
Serving Phoenix and Maricopa County
A Valley pool spends nine months of the year under sun strong enough to strip its sanitiser and is topped up with some of the hardest tap water in the country. Left alone for a fortnight in July it does not drift out of balance — it turns. A pool here is not a low-maintenance object, and pretending otherwise is how owners end up paying for algae recoveries and early equipment replacement. Our whole model is built around never letting a pool get there.

Our system emails you a PDF after every visit: photos of the pool as we left it, the chemical readings we took, what we added and the time we were on site. You do not have to be home, and you do not have to take our word for it.

The monthly rate covers routine chemicals. No per-visit chemical add-ons, and no larger bill because July was hot.
A fixed route and a fixed service day
You are on a scheduled weekly route, not a dispatch queue. Your service day is set when you sign up and it does not move.

The weekly checklist, in full
- Brush walls & stairs. Walls, steps, benches and the shadowed corners behind the ladder get brushed every visit. Algae takes hold on a surface long before it clouds the water, and brushing is the cheapest way there is to stop it.
- Clean the bottom of the pool. The floor is vacuumed end to end — deep end, steps and benches included — so silt and grit leave the pool instead of being stirred back into suspension for the filter to fight.
- Clean tiles at the waterline. The tile line is where Valley water shows first. Scrubbing the scum and early calcium off it weekly is what keeps a pool from needing a bead-blast to look right again.
- Skim the surface. Blossoms, seed pods, insects and blown-in dust come off the top before they sink. Everything skimmed out is debris that never gets a chance to decompose, feed algae or stain plaster.
- Empty baskets & traps. Skimmer baskets and the pump pot are both emptied every week. A packed basket starves the pump, kills circulation, and is the most common reason a motor dies years early.
- Balance & add chemicals. Free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness and cyanuric acid are tested at the pool and corrected on the spot. All routine chemicals are included in the monthly price.
- Backwash the filter regularly. Filters are backwashed on a pressure schedule, not a guess — when the gauge says the media is loaded. A filter running against a restriction cleans nothing and costs the pump its life.
- Complete service report. Every visit ends with a service report emailed to you as a PDF: photos of the pool we left, the chemical readings we took, what we added, and the time we were on site. Free, every week — it lands in your inbox whether you were home or not.
